From baby clothes to breastfeeding…
Navigating the landscape of baby gear can be akin to embarking on a treasure hunt, and we’re here to ensure you uncover the gems that cater to your specific needs. As seasoned parents ourselves, we recognize that each step into parenthood is a unique adventure, and the right products can significantly ease the transition. TheBurg has diligently curated a list that merges practicality with style.
Learning about all these new products can be incredibly overwhelming in the beginning. Tackle this list one step at a time – and never forget that you can always do a last-minute order once the baby is born (I did about 70).
For Postpartum Moms
PJ nightgown (mainly for hospital – only need 1)
A few matching lounge sets (bonus if they have buttons/ zip)
High rise underwear (c-section) / full butt underwear – Skims & Gap Body
Diapers or just take the underwear from the hospital
Maxi Pads (extra long)
Pain Medication (either prescription from your doctor or over the counter)
Breastfeeding
Portable Pump (This may or may not be your primary pump, but will make pumping in public (and in general) easier and hands free)
Pumping Bottles (these attach to most pumps)
Lactation Massager (for improved milk flow)
Nursing Pads (There are disposable and reusable options. We find the reusable options to be softer and that they hold up well in the wash but both are great options)

Bottles (Dr. Brown’s Wide Neck or Lansinoh)
Purchase size Preemie, 1, and 2 flow nipples in Dr. Brown’s
Or Slow, Medium, and Fast Flow in Lansinoh
